Basically the car is too small for US market, look @ sienna, odessy, they are similar/ bigger then Chrysler Voyager.  Beside, alot of consumers will buy US brand minivan/SUV, because they are more reliable and longer lasting (This is quite different in the sedan/wagon market...)  in the US SUV market, I think only Toyota Tundra/ Sequia, and 4 Runner can have similar performance as US SUV.

Not only Americans, even the American/Canadian Chinese like the US Brand van/SUV (you see them driving Jeep Grand Cherokee and Chrysler Voyagers...)

唔知點解硬係覺得美國個市場係Pick up或者SUV先會有市場
再唔係就真係超豪Van

Well, actually you are wrong about the luxtry van in US, US is not the largest market, infact, people rarly buy those US made Custom Van (as we call it here)...Japanese are the one that buying alot of them, then Taiwanese, Chinese, and Korean market..the Domestic market of these van are down like 45% due to fuel cost, and expensive conversion fee..
