When there's emergency, no police force will talk about intergerty, the police job is to protect citizens and property, no matter how just the cause of those farmers are, if they break Hong Kong laws, then the police have to do something....I guess in this world, only Hong Kong press will ever talk about police integerty @ emergency situation....I never heard Canada/ US police talk about these in Martial Law or Riot situations...cause it's not their first priority.  Also, the police force is Hong Kong is alreay nicer...remember the WTO in Seattle, police did actually fire gun shots in order to stop the riot, and I did remember 1 person was dead...(I was living in Seattle alreay @ that time..)

If the police stick with their promise and not use require force to deal with the situation, then I think latter days the Hong Kong press will say the police are useless and afraid of real riots, which inturns, is going to be a world joke...

治亂世用重典（可能我講得較嚴重）。
假如，只是假如，示威者推倒警車引致多人受傷、有人乘亂破壞店舖、
甚至用竹枝造成任何人命傷亡，警方都要因為「誠信」而維持用胡椒噴劑？
