LDN: Xtra tridents- rotue 381 113- rail replacement

The jubillee line is closed between 25 dec and 30 dec, so trains can be lengthened from 6 to 7 cars long.

To replace the trains, there are some bus replacement services, tickets are available on boat services, and two routes have extra buses running on them at certain times.

personally, I find 'rail replacement bus' services boring to photo, as the buses do not show much information to identify what they actually do.

but extra buses on an existing bus routes- that's far more interesting...

so, on route 381 we have for 3 days an extra service between Canada Water and Waterloo. this requires 9 buses, 5 or 6 of which are tridents. the route has been operated by Volvos, so this is the first time tridents have ever appeared. those tridents come from another garage, so it is a special operation.

Route 113 has 4 extra buses from Holloway garage. two of the buses today were tridents- again a first , as EW garage has volvos.

here is TA87 on the 381 near waterloo and TP357 at the O2 centre, Finchley Rd on the 113.
