好多"年青"既巴迷都認為AP係超嘈, 但係如果有幸搭過SEDDON的話......只可以講, SEDDON既噪音我估都有AP既4, 5倍!!!
P.S.如果有買容生出品, 應該會見到呢張相

係前置, 上車時已經有非常嘈吵既"局谷谷, 局谷谷..."嘈音, 支S型波棍仲不斷左搖右擺......
果兩個就係"自行投幣"標誌, 即係話呢架係OMO一人控制巴士. |

撇開部車勁嘈既缺點以外, SEDDON當年既設計真係好正! 弧形玻璃, 特大車窗, 內趟式尾閘, 淺蘋果綠內裝加淺湖水藍座椅(雖然仲係纖維座板......)
可惜批車太渣! 如果唔係都可以捱到87, 88年......

I thought Seddon only served in Kwai Chung when they were close to retirement and never thought they appeared in Yuen Long. |

This Seddon front was not original and I have seen even older photos to show the original front with immense British feel. In UK, there were lots of this type in services up and down the country in 70's. I had particularly remembered the rambling noise produced by the engine because it was a front engined design. The design did not suit tropic & humid countries like Hong Kong so there were serious fire because of overheating and melting the electrical wiring. |
