Fotanian is an open-studio art exhibition that forms part of a series of separate cultural events to kick-start 2010.
To make a garbage station look good, the front was decorated with a forest scene so it doesn't look anything like its function. This photo depicts the arrangement.

Hong Kong is a very safe city. To be more safe, many older buildings and government housing are equipped with these metal gates in addition to the main door.
There are quite a lot of photo-taking opportunities with the art displays. The open house was immensely popular and I purposedly didn't want to capture the crowds too much. You have to think about the setting on the back of your heads.
War-time bombs are dug up every now and then with so much construction happening in the city. Workers are evacuated and the bomb is set off in a controlled explosion. Work then continues ... very routine.
