[GB] Citybus B9TL

Spotted at Heysham a few hours ago, alongst 6x AVBWUs, is the much anticipated 2-axle B9TL/Ecipse Gemini 2 for Citybus. Like most of the UK examples, this is 10.4m. It has a shorter staircase (can't remember if it is straight or spiral), giving a layout of H47/23D.  Also, it evidently has a larger fuel tank under the floor, and the number of low floor seats suffered consequently, to just 4. Other than being shorter and one axis less, it looks pretty much the same as the KMB examples that we are all now familiar with.

This B9 is on its delivery run to Southampton along with two AVBWUs at the moment - so I think you all can expect to see turn up over the summer holiday...!

想問KMB B9TL o既坐椅花紋同尾門是否已經轉成新款? 謝~!

Yes they all have the seat seats and doors. In fact, there was another batch of 8 that arrived at Heysham a couple of weekends ago which have the new doors and seats as well (Picture below).

Another point worth noting is one of the AVBWUs arrived today has the Gorba LCD blinds.

應該係同倫敦同款B9的直梯一樣,
不過樓梯比舊版窄d同短d,每級樓梯大約只踩到2/3隻鞋(以uk size 10號計)....

2. 沿用客滿牌

H47/D23 (E400 H41/D24)

下層應該都是少左3個導航位，梯位後就多過E400一排，可能用左曲梯/短梯所致，下層總共少1個位

但上層坐位多過E400成6個位...？E400就車重就話坐位闊落整少排位...都照理都唔會偷成6個位、同埋又唔怕有超重問題？
