You mean the grille near the back? That's for cooling the battery pack.
Was actually talking to a few people in Stagecoach about them last weekend. Oxford is due to receive 12001-26, and Manchester will get 12027-56 afterwards. The green livery looks odd actually, I think they should have gone for the bio-bus livery, which looks much sharper to me.
On a side note, they are actually beaten by First West Yorkshire, who put their 5 B5L Hybrid into service at Leeds a couple of weeks ago. |
