你覺得他在曲綫誇讚新南維爾士州的鐵路安全水準,在找藉口來辯護導自超支和延期交貨,還是在抱怨長春,“害”新火車不能準時交貨?

Typical Australian behaviour, trying to shift the blame to someone else for their own issues.

What I see the problem is, they are asking CRC to build a train that is so different in manufacturing process than the rest of the world, just think about the 50km/h crash protection, we are not building a train like a car on the road, a train is NOT MEANT TO CRASH if the signal system is reliable and bullet-proof!

The root of the problem is that, for the Sydney railway system, they can never use an off-the-shelf product, since there is so much requirements that they put in, are not required in anywhere else of the world.

And, don't fully believe the media, I've spoken to a few insiders in the project, the feedbacks are completely opposite to what the media has been publishing.

I am not also fully believe in that report as well. I just treat it as some kind of joke to laugh at. Anyway, that news articles requires you t think in different perspectives and you may or may not draw any conclusions in the end.  It is good for general-eduaction since there are lots of thing worth to debate in class!
