愚問英國巴士車牌

今日偶然於新加坡FORUM看到一張TFL citaro MA140 的模型相，車牌是BX55FXC，不過國家是IRL，不是GB。  請問各位該批掛接為何在愛爾蘭出牌，而非英國。在歐洲城市巴士異國服務普遍嗎﹖又為何有些車不拿歐盟牌(沒有藍線歐盟標誌)﹖請答一下，謝謝

that plate is from birmingham and the eu logo is not compulsory
ps. the bus has GB in the EU logo, search the plate on flickr and u will see
