在Enviro家族中,只有Enviro 300 沒有被香港的巴士公司引入。
究竟Enviro 300的車軸設計,能否符合運輸署的發牌標準呢?

There is no reason why not. The only problem is because the E300's design GVW is much lower as well, it does not have to payload capacity to carry a useful number of passengers for its size, esp. after the air-cond is fitted. |

小弟一向都幾鍾意MAN車(城市巴士+旅遊客車),MAN A69陣 配Enviro 300單門版車身真係好型
如果香港有公司引入MAN A69 E300跑機場線,咁就正la(諗起都流曬口水 )
其實英國批MAN A69 E300的引擎係行D0836定係D2066? |

What you said is only part of the story. The E300 is built to a lighter design that the full-size (and heavier) equivalent, but for that very reason, its design GVW is much lower, at 14.4 tons instead of 17-18 tons on the Volvos, Scanias, Mercs and even the old Lance. So although in the UK the E300 is typically 2 tons lighter when empty, it's lower GVW means that it cannot carry as much payload as a full size bus.
And when you throw the air-conditioning unit that is found on HK buses, the problem only gets worst for the E300. It may surprise you, but I reckon E300 built to HK spec, with air-cond and all the goodies, would end up with so little payload allowance that it will be certified to carry less passengers than a 10.4m E200Dart.
I need to say though, this is a limitation not restricted to the E300 only. VDL SB200 - designed under similar philosophy, have pretty much the same issues as well. |

呢隻車都係應付巴士公司要輕量化的大車而應運而生
一來部車可能使用壽命短D
二來人多超載係未必頂得住
人多會爆棚既倫敦都寧願買CITARO唔買佢 |

頂唔順又唔會掛,其實部車睇落輕在用左唔少細車機件
粗用牙煙D,多人問題不大,而機器都唔見得勁抽
而且12米車,你想佢可以粗用得去邊....正正常常stop and go濕濕碎 |
