some people in the industry did mention that, hybrid bus seems to be a transition product, and its development may go not very far away from date. |

Furthermore, where hybrids really save money is in city driving. That, ultimately, would point to the E500H being more suitable to Hong Kong's busy main corridors. |

It is, particularly with a strong backer like Stagecoach, it's bound to be. The B5LH is also winning an increasing number of orders as well, and it is now recognised that both type are pretty much on par, with the E400H having to edge on being more refined, whilst the B5LH a more versatile vehicle.
krausssammy: It all depends what engine they will be using. If they stick with the same ISBe engine as the UK version, there is a good chance that they will end up being lighter than the existing E400s in HK. |
