GK9636: Thanks. I spotted a few errors on the 1005 site a few times when I collate the VIN off it and cross checked against, but clearly I didn't catch the one we are talking about!
Speaking of which, any chance you have the body numbers for AVBWU230 onwards? Bus list of the Web posted the body number up to 229 (which I hope is correct) and I am trying to get hold of a full list to look at the build sequence of the vehicles comparing to the time they were actually licensed. |

Fantastic. That fills a lot of the gaps of the data I had. Thanks you (and GK9636 for that matter).
I have been recording the VIN and body number to
track about how long some of the B9s have been stored before they went into service. Now looking at the body number, it seems AVBWU166, despite not quiet being the last chassis built (VIN 175323), has the highest body number (AE721) and might well be the last body built by Wrightbus (out of the whole order anyway). It seems like the chassis' are pretty mixed up by the time they got to Wrightbus for body assembly, In fact, it seems that at one point Wrightbus had quiet a backlog of the chassis to deal with. But I'll wait for the last time to be licensed before releasing some of my observations. |
