[UK] Virgin Trains lost the bid for West Coast Mainline

First will take over the West Coast Mainline from Dec:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-19264614

Can't imagine the day without Virgin Trains...sad news for me.

即係遲早要坐first的貴價火車....
半個euston變成第二個paddington....

我唔明點解virgin竟然會lost...
論服務或舒服virgin肯定好過first...
最重要係virgin d 平車飛多過first...

virgin d 火車又新過first d爛鬼翻新車,
virgin上到glasgow都要4.5h,
如果first用d翻新車行分分鐘起碼5個鐘,
文中又話有新車行,到時米又係加價....

睇來要訂定張virgin first class坐返單返上去.....作最後支持...
希望2026可以再見到virgin westcoast mainline 呢個名...
first westcoast 唔好再出現...:@

First bid with an unrealistic high amount of premium paid...
The bid system has flawed...

Quite some people implied that the DfT might be in corruption.

First Great Western 成日畀人嘈，但係政府早幾年已經封殺 Thames Train ，而家 First  Group 重可以多個專營權，真係耐人尋味！

前年(定舊年？) East Coast 已經因為財政理由提早放棄專營權，而家又再「價高者得」，政府唔怕重蹈覆轍咩？

Virgin Trains的確抵坐，Coventry去London如果經Megabus訂最便宜可以3鎊一程，
即使單計Birmingham New Street去Coventry的正價票，Virgin也是三間公司中最快、
最密車而且最便宜的選擇(最貴的反而是最慢的London Midland)。

First接手後應該不會再有了……

好難想像以前學生年代SOT-MAN/SOT-EUS呢兩程車會冇左VOyager/pandolino坐, 分分鐘我d師弟妹要坐MKIII
真係服務大降級.
Virgin真係好舒服...唉

好可惜 virgin trains D平飛好抵, 聲譽又唔差。
