又係Wow,
No. They do share the same front chassis module and the engine.
Just a couple of correction on my previous post. V6's unladen weight is actually 10,835kg. With that it can carry 100 passengers (layout: H41/22D+37), making it currently the highest capacity bus in service within the London Buses network. |

Turbo

D9B won't do for Euro 6, for that it will be the new, and slightly smaller 7.7L D8K engine, which is available with an output between 280 - 350 bhp. If that happens, it will be the B8TL that we will see instead.

In the latest Buses, they specifically said there will not be a 3-axle version of B5TL.
I am not sure if that means the chassis will never have a 3-axle option, or if it is just the powertrain that will not.
I am eager to see the new B5TL and B5LH chassis. I want to know how they are 300kg lighter.
Hopefully, it isn't too arched like the ADL E50D.
edit: It is interesting why they did not make a B5RLE, citing lack of customer support, when they have a B5RLEH in Australia.

They have already covered the B7RLE's replacement with B8RLE.
For the tri-axle option, a B8TL makes better sense because of the power needed for the air-cond. However, I won't be surprised if they go all out to offer a hybrid only, i.e. tri-axle B5LH. They are doing that for the 7900 these days, which has no diesel only version anymore. So why not, esp. if they can keep the price down? |
