The 2nd order never got finalised, as ADL has delivery slots available to fulfill the order, so Stagecoach turned back to the E40Hs.

Haven't seen any numbers on the B5LH, but the two demonstrators that went to Metroline and Arriva are quoted to weigh at 10,814kg. The new Stagecoach London E40Hs weigh at 12,205kg, about 300kg more than the Euro V equivalent. But then, the Euro 6 Cummins engine is a little bit bigger, and the bus is about 30cm longer, which should not be a surprise. |

This is clearly one of the early production batch so are built to a standard length. Volvo does offer a 11.2m version on the chassis, so if Lothian order it, it will be available.
Going slightly closer to the topic, it emerges today that Stagecoach has ordered another 18 B5LHs for its Tayside operations in Dundee. What makes this interesting is they will be bodied by ADL, a first for the type.

或者係因為所有歐六偈都要飲尿, 所以ADL唔介意俾自家車身裝喺其他底盤, 包括富豪
但係之前唔係有人講過ADL + 富豪呢個配搭出現過問題咩?當我聽到呢張訂單嘅時候, 我都嚇咗一跳
估唔到隔咗咁多年, 呢個配搭又再次出現, 買嘅仲要係Stagecoach

頭跨個位,長度仍然係介乎 E400/DB300 同一般版 B9TL 之間,又唔係用黎幫手放機械組件,但加一對導航位又未必夠
中門後仍然要上一級,車尾位置樓底實在太矮 (其實睇相見到當年架 Plaxton President B7L 樣板都已經要上一級),反而單層 B7L/B5L/7000/7700/7900 之類就算係短陣版好似都毋需整一級)
個舊儲電器/電池仍然係擺正係中門前個排凳上面,整中門既話俾倫敦用都尚可,但整單門或者香港版似乎就局限左個輪椅位要放右邊/個排凳後邊,實在太無彈性
前跨呢樣嘢, 係可以延長啫, 以前嘅B9TL可以做得到, 連N-series配E400車身嘅時候, 前跨一樣被延長, 故此要加一對導航位喺B5LH嘅前跨並唔難
而整體車廂佈局上, 我諗佢應該同配Wright車身嘅同款車差唔多, 因為ADL自家E350H嘅引擎室佈局, 同B5LH幾乎一樣, 最多只係尾跨短啲, 無理由唔識搞
我希望我呢個推測無錯, 而唔會好似E400 + Scania咁差啦
至於佢啲單層車自中門後毋需整一級, 只係因為電池組放咗喺車頂前方, 譬如7700H/7900H, 佢個車頂造型咪就係中間凹咗落去
理論上佢其實可以彷效E400H, 將電池放喺上層車尾, 但係車重分佈問題可能會出現
