Is it possible to change 54 to follow the route that will no longer be served by 51 following this change???
The biggest problem is 51 is costly to run and the demand is not very high during most of the time... And this is the reason why KMB want to cancell the route...
By reducing the lenght of 51 could reduce cost... But I suggest you not to have frequency like 22-23mins... Its hard for passenger to guess when the bus will arrive... Let say every 20mins during peak hours... And 30mins during off peak... That would be better... And during weekend... I suggest 30mins all day... But 1 bus stand by at each of the bus terminal to provide additional ride when the demand is high... And also to sustain the frequency when driver take turn to eat...
原先我係諗住平日繁時每20分鐘一班,
但以現時51官方行車時間為48分鐘,
CUT短後行車時間大約為40分鐘,
連休息時間我預一轉為90分鐘,
如果開20分鐘我怕班司傅未必趕得到開下一單。 |

64K來回行經全程錦上路(但西行由東成路至錦田公路之間的錦上路只有64K,
但路程較短,對乘客的影響較少)。 |
