美國車o係海外既市場係咪好細架咋？

GL8, isn't it only have 3000cc, my uncle got a similar van (Pontiac Montana) and dosen't have such bad mileage wor...is it something wrong with your van.

GL8"削"至2.5L V6都有，官方定速油耗(HIGHWAY MILEAGE?)係7.46L/100KM...

AZTEK同佢兄弟BUICK RENDEZVOUS真係好樣衰，

haha, my friend bought a 300C over a camry, as alot of peple said, the newer japanese car are too ugly/ dull...also, American cars are starting to have much better quality, and alot of japanes car (especially American made once, is losing quality (such as toyota, nissan...)) .  As my family 5.7L chevrolet tahoe, most of the time, under 60mph, it only use 4 cylinder, that's why it can achieve good mileage

I think alot of HK people still think American cars are those 70's monster, but the reality is, 90% of them are not lor...

in fact, they can be as fuel efficient as japanese cars.

as I have driven (rent/ own) a few American cars, i don't really find them that bad lor...In fact, I think it’s a lot of HK people prejudice that make American seems to be inferior.

講真我覺得美國車整體的好處是 : 起步快, 扭力高, 低速加速爽

而美國車以''食油''聞名, 如果在油貴ge用美國車, 你真係有錢啦.
仲有, 我覺得美國D普通高扭力家庭車一上到100km/h以上加速就開始無力, 踩極唔去(特別是Ford)

美國車, 老實講送比我都唔要, 寧願實實際際買架VW Golf果類車好過.

PS : VW Golf真係幾正, 上年新出果隻GTI超正, 家庭車就好欣賞2.0 FSI.

Well, depends how u use it la, so far I've driven Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Windster, Explorer, jeep Grand cherokee (my all time favorite) ford 500 , chrysler pacifica, and new Chevrolet Tahoe...I didn't find lack of power after 100km /60mph wor, in fact, i alway speed quite fast at my old Grand Cherokee..

and VW,I have a jetta wagon too, but it's a whole different thing,  I prefer my vw for short trip, but for long trip, i will take either the Tahoe or pacifica.  cause it's easier to handle, and mileage is not bad too, both can achieve the 20's range (mpg)

I first hate domestic cars too,but after owning them,  I don't find them that bad..In fact, i know alot of HK people own American cars in us (ranging from chevy cobalt to Ford F 350) and a few friends that drives explorer, wranglar, and grand cherokee in Hong kong.

to tell u the truth, i will prefer a grand cherokee over a VW ga, but VW is alot cheaper then the grand gei..

Jeep Wranglar大食到飛起,
我roommate就係因為咁trade-in左架慳油d,
實用d同車價平既2004 hyundai accent。

又有朋友用Dodge Caravan V6,
副偈大食過食鬼,
而且成日壞,
一d都唔耐用,
最後trade-in左架Nissan Frontier Crew cab V6,
mileage好好多而又耐用。

美國車大食,
hummer都算出名,
聽講得10miles/gallon(vs一般私家車30mpg)。

不過近排出既Ford Fusion,
又真係幾靚。

Ford Fusion = Mazda 6 ma

Well, if you regularly maintain the car, such as change oil filter, oil, air filter every 3000, then the mileage will be better, cause we did that for all our cars (dealer service), which made them more efficient.  btw: I don't like jeep wranglar, cause it's worst then a tin can, but I really like a Grand Cherokee (especially Hemi 5.7)

Ford Fusion = Mazda 6??? It's just a jacked-up Fiesta, it's more a Mazda 2 than a 6.

look at www.ford.com la, ford Fusion sedan is a sedan under Ford 500 and above Ford Focus 4 door ga.  and when you search around, you can see that it share the drivetrain with the next generation Ford Mondeo and Mazda 6, even the door is the same as Mondeo.  Mazda 2?? and Fiesta, that car doesn't even offer in the US, it's too small.
