Even the old Chevy Nova, Geo Prizm and Chevy Prizm are based on 80'd Sprinter (Corolla) and US version Corolla for Chevy Prizm.

Holden Nova are in the same plan of the new world car, but used different Corolla platform.

It's Kia Elan, not Daewoo Elan (even thought GM had a stake @ Daewoo at the 80's too) but the tooling is bought by Kia.

haha, it's the No frills Chevy Aveo lei, I know alot of HK people bought one as a second car (commutner car for work...cause it's like only $10,000 US MSRP)

The 92X, it's bascially a OEM Subaru WRX NA and WRX Turbo (in US, they call them WRX rather then Impreza), plus, it's became the cheapest European Preimum Car (and trust me, the ride and noise is much better then WRX, but the price is the same, and in West Coast, alot of Asian buys this then WRX, because of the brand name, which that's why it helped boosed Saab slow sales in US)  BTW, i tried that car, but I still prefer a true European car, rather then a Japanese OEM EU car.

Saab 9-7X is more of Saab using the American and heavyly modified it to became an EU car (infact, it drives like one, which is different then 92X)  as Saab redesign the whole interior (including the key hole behind the gear shifter (and using floor shift, which is not common in American SUV), also the suspension is redesign in Stockholm and engine is retune...

btw: after GM sold off it's share of Fuji.  the Saab 9-2x will be discontinue next year, even thought alot of people wants it, but it seems that somehow it ruined the image of Saab (A Sabbaru that is cheaper then the Subaru due to GM buyer's incenstives...)

As, I've seen alot of time, Saab 9-2X buyers are mostly not more welthy buyers of the old Saab, but rather first time buyers that used to own Japanese car..and that's why I've seen them modified the 9-2x with other aftermarket/ STI parts (if for a real EU car, this kind of mod look disgusting...), and as both Saab and Fuji is not really happy with 9-2x (saab said it tarnish it's image as a premium sport sedan company, while Fuji said Saab 9-2x too alot of sale from it's WRX/ Impreza wagon sales in US)

But the real hero for revamping sale of Saab is actually the heavily modified Saab 9-7X (even though it's a GM SUV, but heavily modified by Saab), Now, Saab 9-7X will be available in EU, and soon in World wide.

同埋MU來賣。

我唔知『技術轉換』個定義係點,總之架SAAB 9-2X就都係富士代生產。
SAAB仲有架9-7X係由美國通用代為生產。

But Toyota still joint develop cars in US bor, the NUMMI made Toyota Matrix and Pontaic Vibe, in fact, I think the Vibe have better design that Matrix, and better feature (at least less blind spot at the rear).

o~~i know SAAB 9-2 is from Subaru Impreza, the differnet is the exterior...

But the car really didn't fit the image of Saab, even thought sales are quite well in West coast, but after GM sold Subaru to Toyota, Subaru decided to end the agreement, because most Saab and Subaru said that the 9-2x tarnish their image.    As people think the 9-2x is the cheapest saab ever, which makes the current Saab hardcore fans unhappy (even thought pre-80's saab are in the same level as opel/ vw, as a people's car).

i think the current 9-3 is the best SAAB car in the world, 9-5 design is over
