不過我嗰次可以兩程機都揀位 |

我個情況就係咁:
去程我出發前約30小時 online check-in。YVR-TPE係有位揀既,雖然唔多;TPE-HKG除咗緊急出口要加錢既位之後,一個位都冇得比我揀。
第一程機大約8成滿;而第二程機應該9成以上,目測看見唔到有空位。
咁我當時都仲以為第一程機真係太爆而無位揀
回程我出發前48小時 online check-in。HKG-TPE係有位揀;TPE-YVR又係除咗緊急出口位之外,完全冇得揀。
第一程機上座率低;第二程上到機目測約9成滿,見到係有其他空位。
當然而家再細想,唔排除其實係來回兩程機一早已經full晒,所以造成我有種錯覺以為華航唔比我第2程揀位

近幾年CI都唔係有咩大問題就都係一個好選擇,但價錢相近我會坐BR/CX |

JL used to fly high density 744 between NRT and YVR with more than 400 passengers so the fare was consistently low. However after the bankruptcy it focused on higher-yield passengers, downguaged to 777, then 767 / 787. So nowadays there are only 200 passengers +/- per flight and rarely the cheapest unless you hit promotions, which I've seen less than C$800 return to SE Asia!

日本轉機另外一個問題係ANA/JAL 好多航線依家只由HND 飛,但想時間好 (eg 唔overnight transit)/平小小香港一定係飛NRT
台灣轉係當年 (講>10年前) 無依家禁多直航的好選擇。Post Covid 之後小左好多北美機變返宜家又係good choice (加台北飛香港只係1.5 hours 又多機真係變有個剛剛好小break)
