I am just saying that Alan's idea is not responding to qualcomm's suggestion. I doesn't mean to support qualcomm's idea.In my opinion,796C and 296C should be doing something different.
For example, make 796C and 296C like this
796C: So Uk<>Sham Shui Po<>Shek Kip Mei<>Kowloon City<>Kwun Tong Rd<>TKO<>Oscar by the Sea
296C: Tonkin St<>Lai Chi Kok Rd/Cheung Sha Wan Rd<>Mong Kok<>Kowloon City<> Sham Po Kong<>Kwun Tong Bypass <>Sheung Tak<>TKO<>Tiu Keng Leng
796S: Cancelled

Then,796C and 296c is doing something different
Also, 796S can be cancelled

796C, actually no one take this from/to Cheung Sha Wan/Shum Shui Po, better cut it to Prince Edward instead.

For others, 98C/296C support all the way.
I don't agree, there is a number of passengers taking it to Shum Shui Po
There was once I took 796C (eastbound) in a Saturday afternoon
more than half of the passengers came from stops before Prince Edward

I don't think 796C is an appropriate substitute for the former route 40
It's better to fill the KT-SSP gap with route 6D or some other Kowloon routes

Regarding the differentiation of roles of 796C and 296C,
I originally think 796C should replace 296C completely
but considering the future development of South TKO,
I think the district might be able to support 2 Mong Kok/SSP routes in the future
796C:
Oscar by the Sea/TKO station--new residential area near TKO station--Tiu King Ling station--original route to So Uk
296C:
route unchanged
With the new residential area, more passengers will take 796C and the route doesn't have to depend on Sheung Tak anymore
296C could takeover the whole market of Sheung Tak--west Kowloon

796S: Cancelled如果兩巴傾得掂數,哩個絕對係多羸方案:
1. 減少彌敦道/旺角/觀塘道巴士數目
2. 加怏車程
3. 提供觀青直達車


P.S. 796C 其實可以飛走石峽尾/九龍城(行大子道東/西/界限街天橋)

甘98A,98C改行將隧有望 誰說 296c 不會搬;P

98A、98C 就算放棄坑口都唔會放棄寶琳路,FF 請去 F1 板。

其實新巴想郁796S好耐,前年RDP諗住學797M一車走天涯經富康直出,點知調景嶺班議員唔放行,到舊年RDP終於交出呢個縮短陰乾大計,成機將796C縮返去蘇屋,又可以拓展客量,一舉多得。

到時796S連清半呢個獨市位都冇埋,要cut容乜易, ... 796S 其實係想清水灣半島直出添,
不過依家都唔可以算話陰乾佢,本身 796S 12 年前拉去清水灣半島就唔係劇本一部份,
當年只係諗住 796A 食 796S,變成將軍澳站經調景嶺站去牛頭角站,但因為 796S 去左清半,結果 796S 反轉食左 796A,
依家 796S 縮返去將軍澳站,只不過係做返原本個計劃,本來都無諗住收佢檔的。
