MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified companies to express their interest in tendering for the retrofit of the overhead catenary system (OCS) with the overhead rigid conductor rail (ORCR) system in Tsuen Wan Line (TWL).
The works include the design, supply of ORCR equipment, provision of on-site technical supervision for the replacement of the existing OCS with the ORCR system, site survey for the existing OCS, track alignment and tunnel lining along the existing three siding tracks of Admiralty Station in TWL, and the provision of spares. The design shall include the dynamic simulation, calculation and submission of associated drawings for the ORCR system and the transition configuration. The retrofitting works shall be carried out after train service during the non-traffic hours.

係全線定只限金鐘側線?
MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for modification of around 96 cars of passenger trains operated in Tung Chung Line (TCL). The modification is to provide additional multi-purpose spaces in the train saloon.

如果現時真係將批西班牙製列車(A-Train)大翻新呢個買新車方案,搞得黎成條機鐵(AE)都換新訊號啦;到時咪一樣咪要成批車(包括:機場快綫個11架CAF列車)改裝或直接退役買新型號列車!!
btw,現時東涌線旗下16架掛牌車先嚟學荃灣線招標整部份車廂設水塘多用途空間會唔會遲咗呢??!!

剛性電纜都唔係新野﹐已經有行車線用緊﹐效果係點﹐MTR自己應該好清楚。
如果現階段淨係金鐘則線換﹐應係係想試更換的流程﹐睇下一晚收車時段可以做到幾多幾長。
取工程時的實際情況﹐以便更準確為其他路段作出盤算﹐日後點去分階段進行更換工程。
最少﹐真係工程期間有爆鑊﹐都唔會影響日常營運行車。

以前就話會大番新列車﹐但係近年取態係唔再番新﹐直接換車好過。
仲有﹐而家再買車都無用﹐電力系統唔做提升﹐一樣無的加班。(我假設訊號系統係應付到)
到時﹐番新完多了幾抽車﹐都係得個擺字﹐試問又點會這樣做。

乜你覺得M公司好重視東涌線咩
係重視﹐早就在 360 + 老鼠樂園2大旅遊點開幕之時﹐早就買車及提升其配套﹐增加班次啦。
你試過周六周日黃昏時間﹐在青衣站香港站方向係上唔到車未?
那時係10分鐘一班車﹐之後改做8分鐘一班車﹐情況都係依舊。
而家﹐約6分鐘一班車﹐才叫做好一些﹐只係個別一兩卡有客上唔到車。
真係重視?
早就應該加強青衣<>香港的班次﹐做番這條路線其中一個最重要的任務﹐分流荃灣線過海的乘客。
PS.
江湖傳聞﹐現時平日的繁忙時段﹐在香港站﹐隧道及九龍地區的電力供應﹐已經達到上限。
即使有列車服務﹐電力系統都應付唔到。在加車的同時﹐亦都需要做電力系統提升。
可能一口氣要預備2筆錢﹐所以M公司咪遲遲唔肯做囉。
註: 我相信唔單止上述一段路達到用電的上限﹐連帶其他路段都係接近用電上限﹐即係要全線一齊提升﹐否則大嶼山路段都隨時出時﹐或者大嶼山段無法加班。
這樣令到這筆錢的數目唔細﹐所以唔到最後關頭都唔會去做。
