Staying overnight in Airport

I am planning to stay (and sleep) overnight in an airport (in the terminal building of coz!),
as my flight will depart very early in the morning.
Does anyone have such experience and what should I be aware of?

If I were you, I will stay at home,
and take the Airport Express, or even taxi to the airport in the morning,
rather than stay at the airport overnight.

(Unless you live on outer island)

Sorry to make you misleaded, I am not talking about Hong Kong International Airport.
I am staying at either LGW / STN or LTN.

Better to have a buddy with u
so whenever u hv to go to loo,
there are someone look after the luggage.
Choose somewhere few people passing by
and with less lighting,
which can fall asleep more easily.
Take a luggage car to park beside you,
which u can put u foot there and acts as
a block to make others not so easy to take
your luggage away.
