巴士公司嗰啲話明內部通知嘅嘢又唔見你出聲話唔好貼，幾萬人都收到嘅email，口耳相傳都大把人知嘅事就咁緊張，閣下都幾識做

Dear Members of HKUST,



In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), the University is going to hold a Flag Raising Ceremony on July 1, 2022.  Members of HKUST are welcome to join the ceremony.  Details are as follows:



Date:                    July 1, 2022 (Friday)

Time:                    11:00am (Flags will be raised at 11:00am sharp, participants should arrive before 10:20am)

Location:             HKUST North Gate (note: event participants will be notified of the exact assembly point)

All campus users are also reminded to take note of the following traffic and transport arrangements which will be implemented between 10:00am and 11:30am on the day:



Temporary Traffic and Transport Arrangements at University Road (10:00 -11:30am)

Section of the University Road between the Staff Quarters’ Apartments / Houses (right after the entrance) and North Gate will be temporarily closed for vehicular access during the Temporary Traffic Management implementation period between 10:00am and 11:30am.  So staff members travelling to campus by car must use the South Gate and display a valid parking permit to be able to get on to campus.  Taxis can enter campus by the South Gate only and the passengers must have staff ID or register as a visitor as usual.



The North Bus station will be temporarily closed and the following public transport services at North Bus Station will be suspended during the aforesaid period:

Bus no.792M, 91 & 91M
Minibus no. 11M, 11 and 12
Terminus of minibus no. 11M will be relocated to the Staff Quarters’ Apartments / Houses at 1 University Road.
Taxi
For detailed arrangements, please refer to the attached “Temporary Traffic Arrangements Plan";  

You may consider get on and off the bus / minibus at the nearest stop of your preference upon road closure.  Those who arrive near the North Gate at around 11am may be required to wait outside the ceremonial area until the flag raising ceremony concludes.



North Bus Station including all public transport services will resume to their normal operation no later than 11:30 am.
