The scope of works includes the design, manufacturing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), pre-delivery inspection and delivery of one air-conditioned 2-axle single-decker electric bus with an aluminum body structure. The carrying capacity of the bus shall be at least 70 passengers or above with an overall length not exceeding 11.7 metres. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining the Certificate of Fitness, arrangement of Type Approval and MVE Inspection by the Transport Department of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region.
The Contract may include an option for the procurement of one double-decker bus. The scope of works includes the design, manufacturing, FAT, SAT, pre-delivery inspection and delivery of one air-conditioned super low floor 3-axle double-decker electric buses with an aluminum body structure. The carrying capacity of the bus shall be at least 115 passengers or above with an overall length not exceeding 12 metres. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining the Certificate of Fitness, arrangement of Type Approval and MVE Inspection by the Transport Department of the Hong Kong Special Administration Region. Tenderers may decide whether to include the optional double-decker bus in their tender submission.

港鐵公司刊登告示採購一部單層電動巴士，供應商亦可選擇是否額外供應一部電動雙層巴士。
是次採購的一輛單層電動巴士規格要求為：空調、兩軸、採用鋁合金車身結構，載客量須達70人或以上，整體車長不超過11.7米。合約中設有增購一輛雙層電動巴士的選項，該雙層巴士需為空調、超低地台、三軸設計，同樣採用鋁合金車身，載客量至少115人，車長不超過12米。供應商可自行決定是否將此選項納入投標。
根據港鐵的初步時間表，相關合約預計於2026年第一季批出，並於2026年第四季完成。

現時E200仲有深宵員接功能，又無乜理由用咁貴價錢買部雙層車攞去做

用落滿意先評估之後再買多幾多架？
雖然單層響大西北少用但唔係無用，現時都係巿區擺定待命做緊急接駁同員接。

901-911差唔多同期出就要同期退，分批買似乎唔太趕得切
連E500EV都可以一大批買，單層電動巴士技術上應該純熟啲，冇乜需要買一架慢慢試
大西北可以自己西北巴士救，出一架可能淨係為做咗市區緊急車。無論九巴定鐵巴近幾年都被人話單層過剩，有車退有quota剩應該出雙層新車好過36架E500EV正正就係代801-824/901-911
