Besides Community transit, Unitrans, Davis has ordered 2 12M E500 and they are assembling in Riverside  now[/url]

There is a  article in the Buses magazine - Dec 2009- with photos from El dorado assembly plant:
Seatlte ordered 120 E500- this is an order made by community transit, which will replace existing articulated bus. 12.8m long buses, 77 coach type seats. buses will be assembled in calf. 23 will be built in 2010 and reminder to follow in 2011-12.
They are marketed as 'double tall'.

Would you mind posting this article here?
I thought there would only be 23 new E500 coming...
It's unbelievable that 120 more are coming.

120?? It means CT want to replace all of the articulate buses (Except DE60LFA)~~

一時誤會咗
應該120係包括07年時訂既果23部
即係餘下加訂既就有97部
至於係咪要全部取代果批掛接
相信部份講得啱
但要留意既係
到2011年接近退役年份既60呎掛接
實質得41部，佢地係95同98年服役
再俾盡00同03年果批既掛接
都係得47部
前後夾埋88部
真係用得到雙層車既路線得4XX果批
係咪真係用到120部雙層車呢？
定抑或有部份本土線都可以轉雙層車？
