The front design is hideous. The curvature of the lower deck does not match the curvature of the upper deck.
It looks like the top and bottom were designed by different people.
The rest is alright though. I wonder how they got it weighing under 10t.
That generation of Optare product line was completely rejected by the market, because they looked really cheap.
And to be honest, this Metrodecker isn't much better either. In fact it looks catastrophic. If anything, I'd rather they built the Rapta. Even putting the look aside, and with that low weight, I do not believe the UK bus market can sustain 5 products (not counting the hybrids). Wright's Gemini 2 DL already proved how difficult it is to gain a market foothole in its production life, and I really do not believe the Optare will do well at all here.
